The position is full-time summer employment - with the possibility of indefinite continuation.
The successful candidate will work with company leaders to produce high quality work in a timely manner. Key tasks include:
Designing and delivering our core communication products: infographics, reports and short form digital and print materials.
Designing and delivering custom PowerPoint and Keynote templates.
Importing and formatting copy and graphics into design templates.
Designing content templates and graphic elements for traditional and digital advertising, social media, and marketing.
Proofreading knowledge products and editing graphics.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving on a wide range of design-related issues.
Knowledge and skills or interest in creating multi-mode digital content.
The successful candidate will have expertise with a variety of software tools and a demonstrated ability to design and create online products, including financial reports, business proposals, academic and policy articles, newsletters, marketing materials, business cards. The candidate will be comfortable in designing infographics combining text, numerical data, photographs, illustrations, charts and other visual elements. The candidate will also be able to complete tasks to tight deadlines.
Education: Graduate-level student or an undergraduate student (in second year or above) in a communications and/or journalism department at a Canadian University/ Community college, or demonstrable talent and skills (if you have talent - but no degree - be bold and apply).
Previous Experience: Two to three years in a relevant field (professional, internship or volunteer), or demonstrable superior skills and portfolio.
Technical Skills: Facility with creative software including Adobe Creative suite, Indesign, FCP, and other equivalent SaaS platforms and apps.
Imagination, curiosity and a strong design aesthetic.
Attention to detail - you must be well organized and possess good time management skills.
A commitment to converting creative ideas into practical outputs.
An aptitude for critical thinking and problem solving.

SecDev’s Zeropoint Security is looking to recruit a SecDevOps engineer to support our flagship trusted internet access and privacy on demand solutions. Your responsibilities will include day-to-day administration and service automation. You will be involved in architecting and designing future iterations of the product, ensuring consistency with security best practice and continuous improvement of DevOps pipelines and processes.
Working experience in DevOps, SecDevOps or systems administration.
College diploma/university degree, or sufficient proof of professional expertise.
Minimum three year’s experience in software engineering and /or security engineering roles.
Proven familiarity with network engineering and security practices.
